Holiday Magic at the Robbins Hunter Museum
January 3, 2025 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Celebrate the rich history of the holidays at the Robbins Hunter Museum!
Holiday Magic at the Robbins Hunter Museum transforms this elegant Greek Revival house museum, built in 1842, into a festive wonderland featuring trees that represent different historical periods.
Visitors will receive a new Family-Friendly Holiday Tour designed for ALL families. Each tour features our unique themed trees, each telling its own story and enhancing the holiday spirit. Children will be particularly engaged as they explore fun details about these trees, adding a touch of interactive excitement to their experience.
Children can enjoy creative performances where they can recite short poems and acrostics, fostering a love for literature and creativity. Children will receive a winter-themed thaumatrope kit to make the experience even more memorable. At the same time, adults can take home a vintage Santa postcard.
This year, the museum proudly presents a captivating special exhibit: the Menorah Collection. Featuring a special selection of menorahs and Hanukkah artifacts from a local private collector, this collection enriches our holiday display with a vibrant tapestry of cultural diversity.
All holiday tours, including the family-friendly tour, will run from Wednesday to Saturday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., providing ample opportunity for families to enjoy this unique experience.
