Dozens of firefighters responded to a fire at the Buxton Inn in Granville Tuesday morning.
No one was injured, a fire official told local media. Most of the damage in the 210-year-old inn is in the attic above the kitchen, where the fired started, and the flames did not reach any guest rooms, The Advocate reported.
Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
The inn dates to 1812 and is one of the oldest inns in Ohio.
